The majority of consumers we assist will acquire two crucial functional skills: self-advocacy and relationship-building with others other than paid staff, such as SLS personnel. Each client would ultimately determine their place of residence. In this situation, the buyer would assert their personal preference about residency. Moreover, customers would be motivated to cultivate enduring relationships with individuals beyond those compensated to deliver consumer services and support.An illustrative instance in this context might be: The consumer could uphold a personal calendar denoting significant dates, notable events, and/or milestones of family members and/or friends. The consumer would be prompted to contact or visit family members and/or friends on significant occasions, such as holidays, birthdays, graduation celebrations, anniversaries, etc.Furthermore, customers would be incentivized to frequent local community colleges, retail centers, day/work programs, recreational and athletic activities, bookstores, coffee shops, and similar venues.
